This charming, newly renovated 2 bedroom lakeside cottage on beautiful Lake Kashagawigamog in the Haliburton Highlands, just 2.5 hours N.E. of Toronto, is ideal for a couple or small family vacation.

Just steps from the shore on a private, level grassy lot fringed with trees that slopes gently to the lake, our “Just in Time” cottage boasts full sun on the dock, brand new propane BBQ, an outdoor fire pit, play area for the kids, and shallow, sand bottom entry into pristine waters.

The equipped country kitchen has a new stove and pantry table for easy storage. Fresh mattresses and pillows on the beds. Elevated pine ceilings throughout. Add the futon and this cozy retreat comfortably sleeps 6. One 3 – piece bathroom. An overhead fan in the living room for those hot, cedar-scented nights. Great little entertainment centre with TV, games, DVDs and a CD player.

Or if tranquillity is the ticket, just kick back and listen to the waves lap the shore. Patio table & chairs on the deck for outdoor dining. Quiet back roads for walking and biking under a canopy trees.

“Just in Time” provides a paddle boat too, and if fishing is what you’re after, there’s Bryson’s Marine on the lake for all your watercraft needs. It’s all about the forest and lake here on Lake Kashagawigamog, but you’re only 10 minutes away from the town of Minden for shopping, restaurants, golf, art and entertainment.
