Welcome to cottage country paradise: An idyllic setting on Little Redstone in Haliburton, a clear, clean lake ideal for swimming, fishing and exploring. Here is a comfortable retreat for a relaxed family vacation – this 3 bedroom getaway will accommodate 5.
A private, lakefront, year-round cottage in a quiet bay on a deep, well-treed lot lush with hemlock and maple, it’s southern exposure promises all day sun and plenty of grassy open area for lounge and play. A bright kitchen and living room with a walk-out wrap-around deck, our Redstone Retreat offers the right cottage perks – a woodstove, a great fire pit (wood provided), propane BBQ, a look-out deck and large floating dock, paddleboat, canoe and patio table and umbrella for outdoor dining; TV and DVD player, microwave and washer and dryer are among the amenities.
Deep drilled, tested well provides safe drinking water. Electric baseboard heat for cooler nights. A rugged shoreline. Deep water swimming off the dock.
Only a couple of miles from the Kennisis Lake marina with a small store for last minute supplies and all your boating needs. Just south of Algonquin Park and 3 hours NE of Toronto, Redstone Lake is only 25 minutes from shopping, golf courses and white water kayaking. And just 10 minutes away is the 65,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed trails for mountain biking and hiding, ‘A Walk in the Clouds’ canopy tour and the world-famous Wolf Observatory.
