A vacant, well-treed lot on one side affords real privacy. A huge, tiered deck provides a breathtaking view of the lake. Southern exposure ensures all day sun on the dock and great sunsets. The perfect recipe for relaxation and respite from the hubbub of the city. All this on sparkling Kennisis — the premier lake in the Haliburton Highlands — with its 8 miles of pristine, island-studded waters, ideal for swimming, fishing and exploring. Just south of Algonquin Park and 2.5 hours NE of Toronto, the lake is only 25 minutes from shopping, golf courses and white water kayaking. Kennisis Marina has a small store for last minute supplies and all your watercraft needs and you’re just 10 minutes away from the 65,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed trails for mountain biking and hiding, ‘A Walk in the Clouds’ canopy tour and the world-famous Wolf Observatory.
