There’s plenty of opportunity for R&R at this exquisite designer cottage on prestigious Kennisis Lake. Beautifully renovated, presenting a fresh, open living space with rich hardwood flooring, shiplap walls, cathedral ceilings, two propane fireplaces and lots of lounge areas throughout. This elegant, yet casual retreat has everything you need for the perfect family vacation.

The Lakehouse has 3 main floor bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. The lower level has additional sleeping quarters, with 2 queen bunks and a 2 piece bathroom, kitchenette and Smart TV — great for kids or extended family. The cottage will comfortably sleep 9. With brand new memorry foam mattresses on all the upper floor beds. The lower level is accessed by a separate entrance from outside for added privacy. It is not accessible from the upper floor.

Step out onto a sunny wrap-around deck with a propane BBQ, Adirondack chairs and lounge set. The lower deck boasts a screened Haliburton room with a bistro table, perfect for your morning coffee and enough room for a little yoga. The lower area also has a large firepit for nightly smores.

Situated on one of the finest sand beaches on expansive Kennisis Lake, with a lakeside fire pit, 2 kayaks, a canoe and paddle boat it is here that you’ll experience the kind of holiday summer memories are made of.

Kennisis is a pristine, premier lake in the Haliburton Highlands, at the heart of Ontario’s vacation paradise: 14 miles of crystal clear, island-studded waters, ideal for fishing, swimming and exploring; half an hour from shopping and entertainment, and minutes from the marina and the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its 100,000 acres of hiking and biking trails, numerous family activities and the world famous Wolf Observatory. Only 3 hours NE of Toronto, but a million miles from the hustle and bustle of city life.
