Bliss cottage, aptly named, is truly a cottage country dream house. This all season, 4 bedroom designer log home (including bunkie) has everything you need for an idyllic family vacation. Situated on a well treed property on prestigious Little Kennisis Lake, you’ll definitely know you’ve left the hustle and bustle of the city when you arrive. Combine rustic elegance and charm with all the conveniences of home, and then some. Comfort is key. A welcoming stone propane fireplace, a screened room, a hot tub available all summer, two fire pits, a lookout deck, ample outdoor games and furniture, and south-facing for all day sun!

Post and beam with a cathedral pine ceiling in the Great Room. Even the loft bedroom has an amazing view of the lake! There’s overhead fans throughout for those sizzling summer nights. Or cozy up before the fireplace in the cooler weather.

Nestled in a quiet bay with a wide selection of watercraft and games for kids and adults alike, there’s lots of opportunity for R&R.
Kennisis Lake is at the heart of Ontario’s premier holiday destination and boasts miles of boating pleasure, with uninhabited islands to explore, stunning vistas and crystal clear water for swimming.

There’s a marina on the lake for those last minute supplies and all your watercraft needs, and we’re just minutes from the 100,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed hiking and biking and snowmobile trails and world-famous Wolf Observatory; yet only 30 minutes from shopping, golf courses and entertainment, and just 3 hours north of Toronto.

THE WATERFRONT

115 feet of frontage and southern exposure! All day sun on dock. Situated close to the water, down a few safe (not too steep) steps. Deep water swimming off the dock. A stationary lookout deck. Lily pad, paddleboat, 2 stand-up paddle boards, a canoe, 2 kayaks (a single and a two-seater).
