It was a great week, Lea. Rained all day on the Sunday (but son and hubby still went fishing). No air conditioning wasn’t really an issue with all of the fans in each room and we made good use of the kayaks and paddleboards (ours as well as theirs). The area down by the dock was perfect for swimming and hanging out — plus my grandson was thrilled with the two float planes parked next door. The manual did say there was a garbage pass but we didn’t find one — no worries since it’s only $5 for garbage and they didn’t charge us for what we brought just before we left on Saturday. It’s a lovely cottage and a big beautiful lake. I appreciated the ease of renting the property and only wish it was a shorter drive from home.

We have spent many summer vacations at Kennisis Lake and Finn’s Landing was absolutely a favourite cottage for our family to stay at. It’s such a beautiful location on the lake, and we especially loved this spot for its fantastic swimming, kayaking and canoeing. We also love the cottage itself for the convenient bunkie and screened-in outdoor area for games and the spectacular decks and dock. Finn’s Landing has absolutely everything we ever wanted for us to enjoy our family vacations there!

We spent a week at Moose Lodge in early July 2026 with our family of 6 adults and 2 children. The cottage was very spacious and well laid out with an open concept main floor which was great for family gatherings. The kitchen was well equipped and the extra large fridge was a bonus. The dock area had sun all afternoon and the water was clear and deep for swimming. We also enjoyed sunsets at the lakeside fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Moose Lodge to others.

O-A Frame is the epitome of comfort and provided the perfect getaway for our family of five. The cottage itself is luxurious yet has that unmistakable cottage vibe. The large windows and great views make it seem as though you are on the water the whole time. To top it all off, the sauna and indoor fireplace add that extra element of comfort on cool evenings.

We appreciated the comfortable settings in each room. Lots of space to read, play games, or simply enjoy to views. The sunrises at the beach were spectacular. We loved the convience of the fire pit, and waking up to the beatiful view of lake from the deck.
The kids loved the beach and the kayaks. The beds were very comfortable and the spaces in the cottage and cabin were generous.

The cottage, and even more so the lake, were fantastic. Might even be our favorite rental so far. So quiet and private with great swimming and lots of lake to explore.

It was great! The cottage is beautiful and the new renovations are stunning. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need for cooking etc. which was great as we’ve rented some that were lacking. Both docks were lovely to sit on and watch the water and sky.
We were lucky enough to have 4 generations there (my parents, myself, my daughter and grandson). My parents took the main floor bedroom so they didn’t have to do the stairs and the rest of us were upstairs…it was perfect. Lots of pictures and memories were made. Just sad that the week is already over.We’ve used two different rental companies over the years but yours is the one I will highly recommend to anyone. Your communication was amazing and I had no fear that you wouldn’t answer your phone or email if I had any concerns.

My husband and I share many fond memories of our repeated visits to Kennisis Lake. We were very lucky to have met Lea Harper through the Kennisis Cottage Rentals Inc. website when we rented our first cottage with the company six years ago. We still remember jumping into the still lake on a beautiful Thanksgiving afternoon, and the paddling into the many bays on the lake. We also met Lea in person on our next couple of cottage rentals. Always willing to help us out, Lea would ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Thank you for helping us build great memories of our trips to Kennisis Lake.

My family and I had a great time at Getaway Bay. It was exactly what I like in a cottage – welcoming and rustic but with all the conveniences you would want (the kitchen had everything !). My parents were there for a couple of days and the fact that the cottage was one level and the grade of the property was relatively flat was good for them. We loved the privacy of the property and the lake was pretty quiet (not sure that is normal or just because the weather was cooler). We saw a loon a few times and heard the wolves one night. We did a lot of star gazing, swam, ran, cycled, puzzled. Mornings on the deck, afternoons on the dock and evenings at the fire pit. All in all we had a very good week.
