Whether you are planning your family gatherings or a romantic couple’s retreat, our lakeside cottage is perfect for all ages—from toddlers to seniors. Set on a level, beautifully landscaped lot with a puzzle-stone path, the cottage is just steps from the shore and features an ample dock and scenic lookout point.

Inside you’ll find the perfect blend of modern elegance and classic cottage charm complete with all the conveniences of home. The warm pine interior is flooded with natural light from soaring cathedral ceilings and a dramatic wall of windows, creating a bright, open-concept living space, that feels both inviting and serene. Step out onto the expansive sun-splashed deck or dock – ideal for outdoor dining, lounging, or simply soaking in the view.  Listen to the waves lap the shore and the haunting call of the loon.

Spend your days kayaking, swimming, or exploring, and your evenings gathered around the fire pit–roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars. Kennisis Lake offers miles of boating pleasure. You are in for the consummate cottage experience at the heart of Ontario’s premier vacation destination.

The nearby marina — within walking distance– offers last-minute supplies, a coffee and ice cream kiosk, and all your watercraft needs, plus a terrific lakeside takeout spot with picnic tables, pickleball, and summer entertainment.

Just minutes away is the renowned 100,000-acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed hiking and biking trails, along with its famous Wolf Observatory. Although removed from the hustle and bustle, you’re still within easy reach of shops, golf courses, restaurants, and entertainment should you choose to venture forth.

THE WATERFRONT

All day sun and great sunsets. With a rocky shoreline and a shallow wade-in area that by August shows a small sand beach. Deep water swimming off the dock. A nice lookout point, stationary and large floating dock. Canoe, kayak, and paddleboard are provided!

Outdoor sauna, outdoor dining table with umbrella, and lounge furniture, fire pit, propane BBQ, Wi-Fi, and AC!
