This new designer cottage has beauty and charm to spare and is situated on one of the most spectacular sand beaches on expansive Kennisis Lake. Our year-round gem has 3,000 square feet of living space. A short, gentle slope to the lake, makes it the ideal cottage for families with toddlers or seniors. A 3 bedroom that will comfortably sleep 6, its a main floor is bright and airy with vaulted ceilings, hickory flooring and wonderful barnwood accents.

Walk into a luxurious Thermador kitchen with a quartz backsplash and state of the art appliances. Walk out to a wrap-around tiered deck from the Great Room or the Master bedroom. Comfort and entertainment are key here. There’s an electric fireplace in the Great Room and a propane fireplace on the lower level — even a work out space.

Expect all the conveniences of home: Wifi and satellite TV, and a terrific stereo system (plus additional speakers at the lakefront.) There’s lots of outdoor gathering areas with plenty of lounge furniture, a cozy on-deck fireplace, a propane BBQ, a lakefront fire pit.

Your Great Escape has a stunning vista, is south-facing for all day sun and a sunset view, and boasts an extensive docking system and lakeside look-out deck. What more could you ask for? Kennisis Lake boasts miles of boating pleasure, uninhabited islands to explore, peaceful vistas and crystal-clear water for swimming. There’s a marina on the lake for last minute supplies and all your watercraft needs, and we’re just minute from the 100,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed hiking and biking trails, a host of activities and the world-famous Wolf Centre and Observatory.

THE WATERFRONT

One of the best sand beaches on Kennisis Lake, expansive by midsummer. Shallow entry all season. Southern exposure. Sun on dock and deck for 12 hours in summer! Extensive docking system with an lakeside entertainment deck. Firepit. 1 new tandem kayak, 2 older sit-on-top kayaks, 1 paddleboat, a large floating mat (lily pad), and 4 water noodles. Lounge furniture. Some lifejackets available.
