On three levels with four bedrooms and bathrooms, a custom kitchen, pool table, and indoor sauna, it’s lake living at its best—the ideal retreat for the multi-generational family or for that private romantic getaway. 

Southern exposure favours a sunny frontage and a bright and airy interior.  Light pours in through every window, even the lake-facing upper bedrooms. There are numerous dining and lounge options, from the wrap-around deck to the ample dock, from the screened Haliburton room to the lookout platform and firepit station, and a choice selection of watercraft. Ultimate comfort in a stress-free environment.

Situated on a quiet back road, our one-acre property showcases both cultivated and native gardens, all nestled within a natural forest setting that ensures your peace, privacy, and ultimate enjoyment.

A premier lake in the Haliburton Highlands, Kennisis boasts miles of boating pleasure, uninhabited islands to explore, stunning vistas, and crystal-clear water for swimming. There’s a marina on the lake for last minute supplies and all your watercraft needs, and we’re just minute from the 100,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed hiking and biking trails, a host of activities and the world-famous Wolf Centre and Observatory.

This is a really nice cottage. Lovely deck to relax, superb screened dining room, lovely dock and dockside dining table, fire pit to sit at in evenings. Deep water off dock for swimming, no weeds.
Probably the best equipped cottage we have stayed at (many, over the last 40 years). It has everything. Pool table/library in basement, big screen TV, best equipped kitchen we have ever stayed at.

THE WATERFRONT

100 feet of frontage. 97 steps to the waterfront. Full Sun from morning till evening on deck and dock. Lakeside fire pit (some wood provided), rock shoreline with floating dock and deep water swimming. 2 paddle boards, 2 adult and 2 youth kayaks provided.

Wifi, Netflix, cell service, ceiling fans, drilled well, UV filtration system, screened Haliburton room, patio dining table and 6 chairs, umbrellas, loungers, Muskoka chairs, forced air furnace, generator, wood stove, propane fireplace, propane BBQ (w/extra tank) , 2 TVS, 2 refrigerators, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, washer/dryer, pool table, books, and board games, some lifejackets available.
