Anticipate a breathtaking view, clear, island-studded waters and spectacular sunsets at this newly renovated, 2,200 sq foot family cottage on prestigious Kennisis Lake. Our lakeside haven has everything you need for the holiday you’ve been dreaming of all winter long.

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and elevated ceilings throughout. A walk-out to a large lakefront deck. Full kitchen with pantry. All the amenities including washer and dryer, dishwasher, high speed internet, UV water system, spa tub, board games and fishing rods.

Baseboard heat, a propane BBQ and a fire pit by mid-summer.

Cedar Lodge was one of the best cottages our family has rented. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with newer appliances and the setting is beautiful for enjoying the lake and the sunsets.

Shallow entry most of the season with a wade-in from terraced steps. Extensive new docking and lots of watercraft. Well treed between properties to ensure privacy, and lots of lawn furniture to enjoy the great outdoors, including a patio table and umbrella for outdoor dining. Sun on the dock from morning till sunset!

And only 3 hours NE of Toronto and just minutes from the Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed hiking and biking trails and world-famous Wolf Observatory. Kennisis Lake has a marina and small store for last minute supplies and all your watercraft needs. We’re cut off from the hustle and bustle in our wooded lakelands, yet only 25 minutes from shopping, golf courses and entertainment – but chances are, once you get here, you won’t want to leave the lake!

THE WATERFRONT

Plenty of Adirondack chairs and new sun umbrella on dock. Gentle slope to water. Waterfront is approximately 30 steps from the cottage. Shallow entry wade-in from terraced steps. 2 – adult kayaks & kid’s kayak, canoe,
swim raft, and stand up paddleboard. Water toys.

Newly furnished, new washer & dryer, dishwasher, microwave, UV drinking water system, new extra-large fridge, high speed internet, TV & DVD player, baseboard heat, ceiling fans, central vac, hair dryer,wood stove, fire pit, new propane BBQ, 2nd fridge in garage. Lots of deck and dock furniture including 7 Adirondack chairs, lakeside storage shed, digital radio and Bose Blue tooth speaker.
